Hello, I'm looking for some hollow based. .454 conocals in the 160 to 185 range. Might even try something heavier but a hollow base is in want and I don't have the metallurgy skills to try and make my own. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

What is the cartridge your loading? If it is a 44 Colt we have an original design for a heeled bullet for that cartridge. We are powder coating them instead of outside lube as was normally used. We also have an original heeled design for the 41 Colt. Here is a link to an auction for our 44 Colt bullets www.gunbroker.com/item/918906546

It's a 45.cal cap an ball and I need them .454 with taper to load into th cylinder properly. Buffalo bullets had a 180 gr back in the day but I'm not skilled nor knowledgeable enough to try to mold them myself. Thank you though for the info. They call the cap and balls 36 and 44 exc because of the barrel size before the rifling is cut in. Mine measures .450 but I'm planning on getting a Remington 1858 soon and I'm wanting to make sure it'll fit both guns. Thanks again

If you have the mold I would be happy to cast it for you.
