Dont do like me and put it away in a safe place. Having one but not being able to find it is the same as not having one. I have a 98 large ring action (somewhere) and a plan to send it to E R Shaw to barrel to 9.3x62 if only I can find it. Who says getting old is not interesting? Young folks just cant handle the challenges.

There is a purpose though..... When you are actually looking for item "A" through the course of digging about you will find all sorts of other items you may have forgotten exist in the treasure trove. And God willing find the 98 action so you can investigate the 9.3x62 in your friendly confines.

The "police badge" on the Chilean action is most likely the Chilean National Crest.

i found a few of "navy" rifles and in one case, i seen the "police badge" on the action. but i cannot find the date of the action. ludwig loewe action is 1895, but i have DMW, so its after 1895.
