A .476 with a long GC should work. When we are looking for a heavy cast for the .41 Colt we grab a .41 with a long GC shank. Cast it with 40-1 and easily size down to .403. The "heel" only needs be long enough for the mouth edge to get rolled into it.

Accurate Molds page 25 for several .47 designs and lower for the actual 480 Achilles 48-2901.

And so I have been looking at this round. It looks to be well suited in a Colt SAA. Should make a real nice hole and drive right through the average corn cruncher.
