No not down here in the all sunny extreme "south of many borders". Even the heavy snows that fell above 15,000 is all sun burned away.
How you doing Dan ? Your last "walk in the snow" got me wondering if your home area might not be deep snowed also...

We are above average for our area. We aren't like Buffalo NY but then we are a high desert where Buffalo being much closer to a coast than we are has always been a snow zone. When I was a kid maybe 100 miles or so south of Buffalo my Dad grew tomatoes and sold to local restaurants. He never had to irrigate anything but here if you dont irrigate about the only thing you can grow is dust. Our area is rated semi arid with the next rating with less annual precipitation is desert. I think we are getting consistently lower temps this year too. We usually get some really nice warm (for us) winter days but we dont seem to be getting those this winter. I am looking forward to some of those though.

We have been watching temps in SE Arizona. Even there the are running 10-15 degrees lower. But no snow and only 3 nights below freezing. I grew up i SW Michigan 2 miles from the lake. Always had a foot on the ground and up to 3 feet to often Jan - mid March. One foot was great for rabbit and pheasant hunting. Had to go to the northern half for deer.

That crazy that you guys are having a cold winter. We have barely been below 0, and haven’t gotten any snow since the 10th of December. I know this, because that’s when I bought the plow truck and it’s been sitting ever since.
