I like it. Old data is valuable to me because I load for many old rifles. My collection of load data books dates back to the 30's I also have some published data that gives the replacements for many of the long ago discontinued powders such as the Hi-Vel line that was so popular between the world wars. Its interesting to me that we now have powders available as black powder substitutes that are very similar to some of the long ago obsolete semi smokeless powders listed in these old data books. I guess powder development has gone full circle. The cutting edge in powder development today has its focus on fouling control and temperature sensitivity. Sound familiar? Yes there were many long ago camp fire discussions long before Teddy charged up that bloody hill on what powders burned moist for fouling control and perhaps if history really does repeat itself even on temperature sensitivity.
