We are currently offering three different bullet lubes
#1 Speed Green --- for smokeless powder
Our first bullet lube that we went commercial with Speed Green. Speed Green is a fairly soft lube for smokeless power laods. It works well through a wide temperature range as well as a wide velocity/pressure range. It is a good all purpose lube for both rifle and hand gun loads. Speed Green will not require added heat the to lube sizer at anything near a comfortable room temperature.
#2 Lotak --- for smokeless powder
We chose the name Lotak for this lube because we developed it on request for a less tacky more firm lube than our Speed Green. Lotak lube uses a microcrystalline wax as a carrier that has a much higher melting point than the bees wax used in Speed Green so holds up better in really hot weather. It is also rich in Carnauba wax which also raises the melting point. We have tested Lotak lube to pressures considered beyond the realm of cast bullets and found no indication of lube break down. Lotak is the lube to use in hot weather and for stout loads that push the limits but is not limited to those parameters. Lotak will not require added heat to the lube sizer unless room temp is below about 60*F
#3 NASA --- for black powder We decided on calling this NASA because it was inspired by technology developed by NASA for deep space travel where extremes in both hot and cold temps may be encountered. In black powder cartridge guns Nasa lube works well in keeping black powder fouling soft under normal conditions without having to use a blow tube. Under very high temp and very low humidity conditions it also hydrates well with the use of a blow tube. NASA lube is a soft lube that will not require added heat to the lube sizer unless you lube your bullets in your refrigerator.
We currently only offer our lubes in one pound cakes at $20.00 per pound plus shipping. Shipping is $6.00 and we can ship two pounds in one small flat rate box for the $6.00 fee. NASA lube also works extremely well in muzzle loading rifles with conical bullets with black powder and all black powder substitutes.

New member here. Looking for a bullet lube for my 45-70 cast lead. Looks like the Lotak is best for Arizona climate. So how do I order a couple of pounds?

Daniel, I was very happy with my Postell .45-70 bullets in the 117 degrees heat at the Quigley shoot in Forsyth. Your lube did not leak out of the cases as some of the others that I saw. One man was sitting in his tent with a plastic knife dipping SPG lube from a small container, & squeezing it back into the brass by hand. None of mine were leaking at all. Thank you. Also, I showed Dave Gullo from Buffalo Arms in Idaho the 3 different bullets that you make for my .45-70's, & he thought that they looked very good. I had them in a Ziplock snack bag, & the lube stayed on the bullets. Dave kept them, & I gave him your card. He said that he might be calling you. Hopefully it will mean more business for you.

Great news Gary !! You know we designed our NASA lube for that vary purpose to not melt and run in extreme heat when that other lube is failing miserably in that regard. Our NASA lube also prevents leading in all conditions when that other lube fails there too. There have been many instances where just switching to NASA has in a short number of shots removed leading left behind by that other lube. That seemed to be pretty common in barrels longer than 30" where the last few inches of barrel would begin to lead with that other lube but NASA still shoots clean. When I was working out the formula for NASA lube I had a large steel plate painted black and set up facing the sun. This was when we were over in Fairview MT on the ND border where at about 1200ft elevation it does get hot around late July and early August Each time I tweaked the formula I would put a gob of lube at the top of the hot plate to see how long it took to begin to melt and slide down the plate. That other lube slid down in minutes but the final formula for NASA lube took all afternoon to make a slow decent down the 2ft tall hot steel plate and that is what I was after. It seemed I was after the impossible to not only resist melting in extreme heat conditions but at the same time melt enough in the barrel to mix with the BP fouling and keep it soft. I was told on another cast bullet forum by a very prominent BPC shooter that if my lube was bees wax based that it would fail when relative humidity dropped to the single digits, period no question. I asked that person to at least try the lube before he condemned it which he agreed to do. In the end he had to admit he was wrong and said he just didn't know how I get it to hydrate so well but that it did indeed and admitted he was wrong and even went on to say that of all commercially available BP lubes ours is the best. If you check our testimonials at our web site there is one from Dangerous Don McDowell after he won a national championship using NASA lube and he also states our lube is the best commercially available. That other lube had an easy start where a prominent gun writer had a 50% stake in its success so had the perfect platform to promote it. I have never made much effort to promote our lube as good products in time promote themselves which seems to be happening as sales of NASA lube are quite steady though likely even more so with modern muzzle loader shooters finding that the old lube formula simply are not holding up to the pressures and velocities being loaded to with modern BP substitute powders and the inline rifles that handle the increased pressures another area where our NASA lube has no peers.
