I need some help coming up with ideas for user rank titles. Right now most off us are "Bullet Head" and that one will probably stay, since it was my nick name when I was a little tot, but I need 3 more ideas for the next couple ranks up.
User ranks are based on post count.

well when I signed up the last one was a *god* - we did not like that - so I thought I changed them - but maybe I deleted instead of saved my changes... ?
it was something like
lead bullet
silver bullet
gold bullet
platinum bullet
but that can't be all right - because I think you need 5 not 4....

I took on the faux title "Bolivian Admiral" on a certain cast bullet site we are all familiar with, and actually got a mook response from who-knows-where that took me to task for 'impersonating a Naval flag officer'. Uptight airhead.......I wrote back advising my detractor that 1) Bolivia is a landlocked country, lacking a navy and/or admirals for same and 2) to take a day that same week and go find a life. What a place.
I don't take much stock in titles. I'm happy just being here. One thing sorta related to the site I would like to see corrected--I see no way to halt the E-mailed notices of posts to the site. THAT is an annoyance of the first order, and this is not the only site that has this feature. It needs to GO, at least AFAIC.

What you will have to do is click the link towards the top that says profile, and then towards the right side you will see a link button that says settings or edit profile or something like that. Click on it, and then about the 5th tab will say notifications. Click on that one, and it will have some drop down options on whether or not you want the site to email you notifications or not. If you don't figure it out, let me know, and ill take some screen shots to describe it better. |

I spend most of my time over there on the same sub-forum as cz. When wandering around the rest of the site, some things are...different than used to be. I hope it doesn't get like that here.
I agree that using "God" as a rating is offensive.

Yes, ma'am--CZ93X62 = Deputy Al. This was a nomenclature change made to try appeasing the Basement Dwellers and Loon Units at a certain site, and was utterly unsuccessful in that respect. It DOES better describe my hobby orientation and current life rhythms, though--so it has become my nom de plume on the gun/fishing sites that I infest. I last worked as a lawman 11 years ago, and though I do miss some of the people I worked with--I sure as (BLANK) don't miss most of the work.

I get a little quesy myself when I see guys posting about birthdays in 1955---The year I graduated HIGH SCHOOl !!! 1oldgentagain I bet 55 was a great year to graduate high school! You could ride your $100.00 surplus Harley to school with your $10.00 surplus Springfield strapped on in a 50 cent surplus scabbard. When I was in school we had a shooting team and shot small bore somewhere in the bowels of the school building. Anyone that was 16 or older was allowed the first day of deer season off from school.

You are a month older than I am, Bullshop. Age is only one of many reasons we see eye to eye, I'm sure. We aren't quite Methusalean, but close to that classification. To hear my rotten daughters talk about it, I was in high school during the Wisconsin glaciation and hunted woolly mammoths after classes let out for the day. No respect.
