This past Saturday Bullshop himself was out slinging lead on the plains of Montana. The weather was nice n' sunny, some wind, but overall a fine day for shooting. I'll let Bullshop chime in and add to this Post if he wants to add more. Rifle is his Sharps Model 1874 cal. .45 2 4/10, and marked Sulphur River Armory, Naples, TX. If anyone has knowledge about the maker on the barrel n' action, please share it, as little is known about this rifle's history. The revolver is a 1958 Colt Single Action Army Buntline in .45 Colt. I'd been told longer barrels were desirable for long range shooting . . . so brought a 'longer barrel' along for the outing! Attachments:

Greetings Bear Looks like a nice open place to make popping noises. About the only longer revolver barrel I have seen is one of them 15 inch Dan Wesson barrels. It does give one good sight picture and gives those slow powders plenty of space to blossom out. Mike in Peru
