You see all that willow brush by the tree because there is water there. There is water there because right beneath that tree is the confluence of Big Sheep Creek and the Red Rock River. The Red Rock River runs another 25 miles and empties into Clark Canyon Lake named after Lewis and Clark. At the spillway of the lake begins the Beaverhead River. The Beaverhead River joins The Big Hole River about 50 miles distance at Twin Bridges and forms the Jefferson River. In about another 75 miles The Jefferson river, the Madison River , and the Galeton River come together at Three Forks and form the Missouri River.

The thick brush is willow, moose food. The big trees are cottonwood, water wood.

Daniel, tell us how tired you get from walking from your house to the Reaper's Roost. I know, but other readers don't.

Its probably about 100 feet give or take a few. Sitting in the roost in the evening is better than sitting in front of the boob tube and there not that far apart. The roost only plays the outdoor channel though.
