I need some cast bullets for my Win 1910SL. The bore measures .400 lands and .406 groves. I would like 50 200grs and 50 250grs w/GC. Could you give me the diameter. Do you still sell on GB

Sorry but we do not currently have anything in inventory that will be quite right. We can do a custom design but there is a $150.00 minimum purchase amount for custom design.

Would your RCBS ~ .410 ~ 210 grains ~ Modified ~ Heavier work in pure lead

Howdy We shoot .410 sized down to .408 in our 1910 cast of air cooled 50-50 (WW - Range Scrap). Our rifle functions far better with the 240 - 250 grains.

A 250gn gas checked bullet will run $31.75 per 100 so roughly a little shy of 500 bullets. Shipping will be additional to the $150.00 minimum at about $20.00 insured.. Yes I can size a bullet that drops at .410" to .412" from the mold down to .408" We have no sizer diameters between .403" and .408" so if you have to have a .406" diameter we will have to get a sizer die made for that diameter. That will not be a problem and we will cover the cost of the sizer die and not include it to your minimum.

I looked at the RCBS ~ .410 ~ 210 on the internet and it is a flat nose. I would prefer a round nose and correct me if I am wrong, if I am at .406 isn't a bullet at .408 what I need.

There are several factors involved like throat diameter, groove depth, alloy hardness. chamber pressure etc. Usually .001" to .002" over groove diameter is what works best but its always best to ask the gun and see what it says. Sometimes in an auto loader bullets over groove diameter can cause chambering issues.

We use a round nose with a slight flat spot Cast of 50-50 GC at 100 yards it still is cooking along fast enough to make a very good clang on a 6 inch 1/2 inch thick steel plate. I have no doubt it will do a massive thwap on a corn cruncher. The 401 has all the same attitude as our 414 Supermag Marlin 336 but in a 4 shot semi auto

Yep Ya get slammed with a .40 plus caliber soft lead rifle slug blasting along at 1900fps and it is lights out. Throw in a few caliber 30 150 fast going grainers and it is all past history real fast.

As I understand the 401 was preferred for its fast handling qualities and fast follow up shots and its ability to penetrate the heavy gauge steel car doors of the day.
