Most of my good child good memories involve my dad and guns in one form or another. Gun shows were always a favorite. I attended my first gunshow on my own this past weekend. Although it wasnt the same as going with the old man, I still had a good time, and managed to score a couple of deals. #1 was a bucket list gun. Ruger Light Weight Commander in 45 ACP. As soon as I got it home I swapped to some grips I picked up at the last gunshow I went to with my dad. And yes, it shoots as good as it looks. This was fired with a 200gn SWC over 5gn of bullseye at 15 yards. Second one, was a first for me, a blued Redhawk. I'm still a sucker for the big Bores. Gun looks to be nearly new, with barely the slightest ring around the cylinder.

I am in need of some 44 bullets so I can lit this redhawk through the wringer. Don't know if my work schedule will allow for a road trip any time soon though.

Check our list at bullshop.weebly.com by scrolling to the -more- icon at the top right of the page. If there is something you would like to try let me know. I currently do not have a 44 but sure would like to have a Marlin in 44 mag.

Finally got a photo of the Redhawk that will load here on the site. 5 shots at 30 yards. I'm thinking she may be a keeper.

Nutten wrong with a revolver that lobs slugs towards the same hole.

My revolvers don't waste so much of the target, at least when I shoot them.

I must say I am really liking the Redhawk. It may just be me, but it seems easier to shoot then a Blackhawk, and I actually like it much better.
