Howdy Brother Kevin Looking real good ! And far better to read the action will cycle with 38 Special !! That is a good thing. It is cycling dummy rounds with round nose feed friendly bullets. I still want to chamfer the chamber mouth but I need to build a tool to do it. I have a tapered stone that came with my Dremil tool but I will have to attach it somehow to a wooden dowel or cleaning rod to get it down in there to do the job. I would need to get a felt wheel down in there too in order to polish it up. I’ll figure something out

That will be another process to go slow with. That was the first thing I did with our 41 Mag Marlin. Helped a lot with feeding flat nosed semi wad cutters. The other procedures came along over the years.
Most hardware stores have a "deep drill extension". Found ours at a yard sale. But the wood dowl will do the trick. Does not take much pressure.
When your ready wrap masking tape around the dowl where it will contact the rear of the receiver hole diameter to keep everything parallel.

Thank you JR ! Will be very easy to one day direct another feller with Marlin-it is how to apply the cure.
